Ford inline 6 cylinder performance manifold and dress up. Tall aluminium valve cover and finned aluminium lifter side cover plate range now extends to the big bad Ford 300 cubic inch engine. Aussiespeed 2 barrel and 4 barrel oval port intake manifolds will accept 2V and 4V Holley and Quick Fuel carburetors as well as any squarebore throttle bodies like the Holley Sniper, FI Tech and MSD
The AS0524 2V intake manifold suits 4.9 and 300 Ford 6 cylinder engines. The provision for fuel injectors are cast into the manifold near the port face.
The overall length of the manifold from the cylinder head face to the outside edge of the carb pad is 287mm or 11.3 inches.

The Ford 4.9 , 240, 300 manifold will accept squarebore Holley, Edelbrock, Carter, Quick Fuel carburettors as well as throttle body fuel injection. The oval port design of the cylinder head is continued through the manifold runners, the runner length makes the Ford big 6 engine even more of a torque monster.

Black is the new chrome, satin black powder coated finish 4.9 240 300 valve cover and engine side plate kit to suit the Ford big 6.
The valve cover and engine sideplate in raw natural finish are available as a package or single parts. You can apply your own paint or powder coat finish or simply apply an oil finish for that blasted natural aged aluminium finish.
The Ford standard pressed tin valve cover has an internal height of around 70mm, the tall finned aluminium Aussiespeed valve cover has a height of just over 85mm and also has the advantage of cast in funnel style internal breather shrouds.
Ford 240 and 300 engine blocks from 1965 to 1983 are the same and our side plate fits. Engines from 1984 onwards the side plate is narrower and our side cover wont fit. We are working on tooling for the later side plate. Also if running Harland Sharp roller rockers 25mm of the inner cone style breather needs to be machined off.
